Enaidura's journey began in 2010. David, rooted in his work at curio shops, hotels, and camps in the breathtaking Maasai Mara and Nairobi. With a determination to support his family and uplift his community, he seized an opportunity when a friend hired him as a driver and tour guide. His exceptional work ethic and passion for sharing the beauty of Kenya led to founding of Enaidura Big Step Safaris. This safari company not only offers travelers unforgettable experiences in the heart of nature but serves as a platform for David to address pressing community needs. Inspired by his journey, he found a partner Merry Purcel, who shared his vision, and together they aimed to create a lasting impact.Through their collaborative efforts, they established Building Hope Academy, a school dedicated to providing quality education to local children who faced significant obstacles. The academy not only nurtures young minds but also instills hope in a community striving for a better future. Additionally, David's commitment to social change led to the creation of The Nairoshi Foundation, which focuses on widows who have been deeply affected by wildlife-related tragedies in his home area. By empowering these women and supporting their families, and his team are building a resilient community that thrives in the face of adversity, proving that with compassion and determination, positive change is possible.​Enaidura's success allowed David to expand his team, bringing local guides who shared his vision of authentic and immersive experiences.
